Developing Housing Solutions That Make a Difference
Edison Community Partners (ECP) is a Michigan-based, minority-owned real estate development firm dedicated to creating high-quality, affordable housing that strengthens communities and improves lives. We specialize in sustainable housing solutions that meet the diverse needs of families, seniors, and working professionals.
Our work combines thoughtful design, financial expertise, and strong partnerships with local leaders, nonprofits, and investors. We believe well-planned housing is the foundation for thriving neighborhoods and lasting positive impacts.
ECP is recognized for its commitment to sustainability, pursuing certifications like LEED Platinum, Enterprise Green Communities, and Passive House U.S. (Phius). Our developments feature air source heat pumps, solar photovoltaics, and all-electric, net-zero ready designs, demonstrating leadership in green construction.
ECP builds on the strong foundation established through Hollander Development Corporation (HDC), a leading Michigan affordable housing firm. Jason Muniz and Matt Hollander, principals at HDC, bring their extensive experience and leadership to ECP. Together, they have spearheaded transformative projects like The Creamery, one of Michigan’s first all-electric, net-zero ready apartment communities, and Hillcrest Village, a pioneering partnership with the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians. Their combined expertise in multifamily development, innovative financing strategies, and sustainable building practices has been instrumental in shaping ECP’s approach to community-focused real estate development.
At ECP, we’re more than developers—we’re partners in building stronger, more resilient communities. Our mission is to deliver affordable housing, senior living, mixed-use developments, and historic preservation projects that provide long-term benefits to residents and neighborhoods.
