Jason Muniz

Jason Muniz is a creative real estate developer with over a decade of multifamily experience, serving as a Principal Partner and Senior Developer at Edison Community Partners. He brings a proven track record in affordable housing finance and innovative development strategies, with expertise in leveraging Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC) and navigating the State’s Qualified Allocation Plan to maximize stakeholder value. Jason has delivered award-winning projects—including Hillcrest Village (Manistee, MI) and the Nisbett-Fairman Residences (Big Rapids, MI)—and is currently the lead developer on The Legacy Senior Living (Kalamazoo, MI), a 70-unit affordable senior housing project scheduled to break ground in Spring 2025. An Air Force veteran and MBA graduate with a concentration in finance, Jason combines strategic vision with hands-on expertise to create sustainable, community-centered housing solutions. Born and raised in Kalamazoo, he is deeply committed to his hometown and enjoys raising his two children in the community.
