Mara Smedes

Mara Smedes plays a key role in coordinating and managing ECP’s development projects, ensuring smooth execution from planning through completion. She oversees project timelines, coordinates with contractors and stakeholders, and ensures effective communication across teams. Mara also supports environmental due diligence, compliance, and reporting for state and federal housing programs. As she advances towards a Project Manager role, Mara is committed to fostering sustainable, high-quality housing solutions that align with ECP’s mission to strengthen communities across Michigan. Mara co-leads ECPs early childhood initiatives with Michelle Audette-Bauman.
